Sue Evans

I am an experienced administrator and qualified book-keeper who has worked within the legal sector for approximately 16 years.

I am a fellow of the International Association of Book-keepers and a member of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management.  I became a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management after passing the ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership & Team Skills in September 2017

I began my career in banking and then moved into administration and book-keeping following the birth of my first child.  I have managed offices and practiced book-keeping for the last 24 years including setting up and successfully running my own book-keeping business.   In my previous employment I worked as the office and accounts manager for over 5 years.

I was born and raised in Oxford and moved to Wales with my family 20 years ago.  I am a proud mother of three, all of whom have now fled the nest.  I also have one small granddaughter who consumes most of my spare time.  However, if I do get a quiet moment I enjoy reading and silence!

Louise Fenney

Specialising in Immigration and Asylum matters, I am accredited to Level 2 Supervisor of the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. I am very pleased to have been named as a Recommended Lawyer in Legal 500 2019.

My experience ranges from initial applications, to matters before the Immigration and Asylum Chamber (First Tier and Upper Tribunal), to applications to the Upper Tribunal for Judicial view (including emergency interim relief) and Court of Appeal.

I have a particular interest in asylum applications, made by those who are the victims of trafficking, and other gender related claims.

I have experience with the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), from referring a potential victim of trafficking for assessment through to challenging an unreasonable conclusive grounds (final) decision.

I am pleased that I have been able to contribute towards research on the subject of trafficking for sexual exploitation in hope that victims will be identified more easily and receive better support in the future.

I have had a large amount of success in applications for indefinite leave to remain on the basis of domestic violence.

Away from the office I still enjoy a challenge, usually in the name of charity. Some of my efforts include a 26 mile trek from Stonehenge to Avebury on behalf of Alzheimer’s Society and the Cardiff Half Marathon for Macmillan.

I am a second dan in Kyokushinkai Karate, which I obtained in 2018 having returned to training after a long period of absence.

I am a qualified Solicitor and Supervising Senior Caseworker accredited under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Scheme.  I obtained my degree in Law and French at Cardiff University in 2010.

I have extensive experience dealing with asylum and immigration matters and regularly provide representation at the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal.

Zeshan Sadiq

I am an Immigration Solicitor and am an accredited Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society scheme. I joined the team at NLS Solicitors in July 2019.

I currently assist in all aspects of Asylum claims, Appeals, Entry Clearance, Family Reunion, Leave to Remain, Settlement and Citizenship applications.

I pride myself in going above and beyond for my clients.

Outside of work I am secretary of the Cardiff Midweek Cricket League and enjoy playing local football as well as going travelling.

I am an LLB Law graduate, I earned my degree from the University of South Wales in 2015. After completing my studies, I gained legal experience from insurance & conveyancing firms before joining NLS Solicitors 3 years ago.

I am accredited by the law society as a level 1 Casework Assistant accredited under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Scheme, and I am currently preparing for my level 2 accreditation.  At NLS Solicitors, I deal with a variety of Immigration and Asylum matters both private and legal aid.

Outside work, I like travelling and I enjoy quality time with my family. I am a proud mother to a beautiful girl.
